Winter Adventure Park Game
Players move around a snowy park board, answering questions about families, jobs, collections, and trips. Teams compete to reach the finish first by speaking English about real situations.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner what job their mother or father does and why they like it.
- Describe your favorite thing to collect and explain why you like it.
- Act out going to the park in winter. Your team guesses what you are doing.
- Ask your partner: what do you do when it snows? What is fun about snow?
- Your team must agree: what is the best job for a boy and why?
- Describe a trip you went on. Where did you go? What did you do there?
- Stand up and mime building a snowman. Your partner says what you are doing.
- Ask your partner: what is in your collection? How many things do you have?
- Explain what job a woman can do. What does she do every day at work?
- Your team has 30 seconds to agree: what is the best place to visit in winter?
- Act out your family eating dinner together. Show us what everyone is doing.
- Compare your family to your partner's family. How are they the same or different?
- Ask your partner: did you go on a trip last year? Where did you go?
- Describe the park in winter. What can you see? What is the weather like?
- Show with your hands: how big is your favorite thing in your collection?
- Discuss with your group: what jobs do people do in the park? Name two jobs.
- You have 60 seconds to present: tell us about your family. Who is in it?
- Explain: why do you like snow? What can you do in the snow that is fun?
- Act out a boy and a woman playing in the park. Your team guesses the game.
- Compare two jobs. Which job is better and why? Give one reason.
- Ask your partner: what is the best trip you can take in winter? Why?
- Describe one thing you collect. How did you get it? Do you like it?
- Your team must agree: is it better to visit a park in summer or winter? Why?
