Wild Animals Adventure
Young learners travel around a 24-space board, landing on speaking prompts about wild animals. Players pair-talk, act out animals, present facts, and discuss habitats. Four teams race to the finish while building A2 English confidence through playful animal-themed communication tasks.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner which wild animal they think is the strongest and why.
- Act out a lion roaring and walking slowly. Your team guesses the animal.
- Describe a zebra's stripes and tell where zebras live in the wild.
- Your team must agree on which animal is the fastest in Africa.
- Ask your partner what they would feed a hungry elephant in the wild.
- Stand up and mime a monkey swinging from tree to tree. Make silly sounds!
- Explain why snakes are dangerous and where you might find them.
- Discuss with your group: do bears sleep in winter? How do they survive?
- Ask your partner if they would like to see a real tiger. Why or why not?
- You have 30 seconds to present three facts about giraffes to your team.
- Show with your hands how tall a giraffe is compared to you.
- Compare a lion and a tiger. How are they the same? How are they different?
- Your team must agree on the scariest wild animal. Explain your choice.
- Act out a penguin waddling and swimming. Make penguin sounds!
- Ask your partner what sound a crocodile makes and where it lives.
- Describe a polar bear's white fur and explain why it needs thick fur.
- You have 60 seconds to convince your team that elephants are intelligent.
- Show with your body how a snake slithers across the ground.
- Discuss with your group: which wild animal would make the best pet? Why?
- Explain what a zebra eats and why its stripes are important.
- Ask your partner if they have ever seen a wild animal in real life.
- Act out a kangaroo hopping and describe where kangaroos live.
- Compare how a fish and a bird move. How are their movements different?
- You have 30 seconds to present your favourite wild animal to the class.
