Verbs Remix: Action Board Game
Young learners race around a 16-space board, landing on speaking prompts that require them to ask partners questions, act out verbs, discuss with their team, and present ideas. Players roll dice, move, and complete varied speaking tasks—pair talk, group discussion, mime, and mini-presentations—to practise body & movement verbs and everyday actions at B1 level.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner which verb they find easiest to act out and why.
- Stand up and mime one verb from the list. Your partner guesses.
- Ask your partner: what do you do when you feel tired or sick?
- Your team must agree: which action verb is the most fun to do?
- Show with your hands how you stretch in the morning.
- Tell the class about your morning routine using three action verbs.
- When do you usually yawn? Explain what happens before you yawn.
- Ask your partner what they like to do when they play outside.
