This, That, These, Those Board Game
Young learners race around a 24-space board, practicing demonstrative pronouns through pair talk, team discussions, gestures, and mini-presentations. Players land on spaces to complete speaking tasks that reinforce this/that/these/those in everyday contexts.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner: Is this your pencil or is that pencil mine?
- Act out picking up these books and putting down that book.
- Your team must agree: Are these toys fun or are those toys boring?
- Point and describe: What is this thing in your hand right now?
- Ask your partner: Do you like these colors or those colors better?
- Stand up and mime eating this apple, then that orange.
- Describe these shoes you are wearing. What color are they?
- You have 30 seconds to present: What is in this classroom?
- Ask your partner: Do you want this snack or that snack?
- Discuss with your group: Are these games fun or not fun?
- Show with your hands: This is big, that is small. Can you do it?
- Compare: Is this desk better or is that desk better? Why?
- Act out: You see these flowers here and those flowers far away.
- Explain: What are these things on your desk right now?
- You have 60 seconds to convince your team: These are better toys!
- Ask your partner: Which do you prefer—these animals or those animals?
- Your team must agree: Is this game easy or is it hard?
