Story
- You wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning. Your alarm clock is very loud. You get out of bed and look around your bedroom. Something is wrong—your school uniform is not on the chair where you always put it!
- You look under your bed. There is a lot of dust and old toys. You find a note! The note says: 'Check the kitchen.' You feel excited and confused. You run downstairs quickly.
- You go to the kitchen and ask your mother about your uniform. She smiles and says, 'I washed it yesterday. It is in the living room on the sofa.' You feel silly. Your mother gives you breakfast and you eat quickly.
- You go to the kitchen. Your breakfast is on the table. Next to your bowl, there is another note! This note says: 'Your uniform is safe. Meet me at school at 8 o'clock.' You do not know who wrote these notes. You feel nervous but curious.
- You sit down and eat breakfast with your family. Your little sister is very noisy. After breakfast, you go to the kitchen to search for clues. You find a note under the sink! It says: 'Your uniform is in the washing machine. It is almost dry.'
- You get your uniform from the sofa. But wait! There is a note inside the pocket! It says: 'Your best friend hid me as a surprise. Come to the classroom early!' You remember—today is your birthday! Your friend is planning something special.
- You arrive at school at 7:45 in the morning. The school is very quiet. You see your best friend waiting by the classroom door. She is holding your uniform and smiling. 'Happy birthday!' she says. 'I wanted to make your day special and mysterious!'
- You show the notes to your mother. She laughs and says, 'Your friend called me yesterday. She wanted to plan a birthday surprise for you. Let's go to school together.' You feel happy and safe. You wear your uniform and go to school with your mother.
