Story
- You are walking home from school. You see a big blue building next to the park. It is very old. You have never seen it before. What do you do?
- You open the door and go inside. The building is very quiet. You see a long hallway with many doors. On the left, there is a red door. On the right, there is a green door. In front of you, there is a yellow door. Which door do you open?
- Your friend comes with you. You both stand in front of the blue building. Your friend is nervous. She says, 'Maybe this is a secret office or a factory?' You look at the windows. Inside, you can see people working at desks. What do you do now?
- You go home and tell your parents about the blue building. Your mother smiles. She says, 'Oh! That is the art studio. My friend works there. She is an artist. She paints pictures and teaches classes.' Your father says, 'We can visit it together on Saturday if you want.' Do you want to go?
- You open the red door. Inside is an art room! There are paintings on the walls. Some paintings are blue, some are orange, and some are purple. A woman is sitting at a table. She is painting a picture. She looks up and smiles at you. 'Hello! Are you interested in art?' she asks.
- You open the green door. It is an office! There are desks everywhere. People are working on computers. Papers are on the desks and on the walls. A man in a blue shirt is standing behind a desk. He looks surprised to see you. 'Can I help you?' he asks. He does not seem happy.
- You open the yellow door. It is a library! There are books everywhere. Books are on shelves behind the desk. Books are on tables. A librarian with a red scarf is sitting at the desk. The room is very quiet and peaceful. The librarian smiles at you. 'Welcome to our library!' she says softly.
- You and your friend knock on the door. A woman opens it. She is wearing a white coat. 'Hello! Are you students?' she asks. 'This is a science lab. We do experiments here.' She points inside. You can see bottles and equipment on tables. 'Would you like a short tour?' she asks.
