Story
- You arrive at school on Monday morning. You sit down at your desk and find a mysterious lunch box under your chair. It is bright purple and has strange stickers on it. Nobody knows who it belongs to!
- You carefully open the purple box. Inside, you find three things: a sandwich, a love letter, and a note that says 'If you find this, call me!' with a phone number. The sandwich looks delicious. You are confused and excited at the same time.
- You show the purple lunch box to your teacher. She looks surprised and says, 'If I were you, I would open it carefully.' She helps you open it. Inside is a sandwich, a love letter, and a phone number. Your teacher smiles and says, 'This looks like a love story!'
- Your friends gather around the mysterious box. 'If you open it, you might find treasure!' says your friend Alex. Your friend Sam says, 'If you open it, you could get in trouble!' Everyone has different opinions. You feel nervous and excited.
- You call the phone number. A girl named Maya answers! She is so happy. 'If you found my lunch box, you are my hero!' she says. She explains that she lost it this morning. She wants to meet you after school to say thank you.
- You carefully read the love letter. It is from a boy named Carlos to his girlfriend. The letter is very sweet and funny. You realize this is not your lunch box! You feel bad for opening it. You must find Maya, the girl mentioned in the letter.
- You call the number with your teacher listening. A girl named Maya answers. She is very grateful and thanks you many times. Your teacher smiles proudly. Maya says, 'If you bring my lunch box to school tomorrow, I will give you a reward!'
- You and your teacher search the school for the person. You check the office, the cafeteria, and the classrooms. After one hour, you find a girl named Maya in the library. She is crying because she lost her lunch box. Your teacher says, 'If you return it now, she will be very happy!'
