A board game where young learners (A2 level) discuss reasons to study abroad, choose countries, and share their study abroad dreams through pair work, team discussions, and creative actions.

Speaking prompts on the board

  1. Ask your partner: what country do you want to visit and why?
  2. Act out packing a suitcase for a trip. Your partner guesses where you are going.
  3. Your team must agree on one country to study in. Say the country name.
  4. Ask your partner: what languages do people speak in their favourite country?
  5. Describe what you would eat for lunch in France or Japan or Mexico.
  6. Stand up and mime riding a bicycle or train to school. Others guess.
  7. You have 30 seconds to present: why is it good to study in a new country?
  8. Ask your partner: which country has the best weather and why do they think so?
  9. Explain one reason you would like to study abroad. Use because in your answer.
  10. Your team must agree: which is better — studying in a big city or small town?
