Stationery Snap: This, That, These, Those!
Young learners race around a 24-space board identifying and describing classroom stationery using demonstratives. Players land on spaces and answer speaking prompts about items near and far, building confidence with this/that/these/those in real communicative contexts.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner: which of these pens do you like best and why?
- Act out writing with a pencil — your partner guesses what you are doing.
- Your team must agree: is this eraser big or small? Describe it together.
- Ask your partner: do you have a pencil case at home? What is in it?
- Stand up and mime opening a notebook — your partner says what you did.
- Describe these scissors to someone who cannot see them. Use colours and size.
- Ask your partner: what colour is that ruler on the teacher's desk?
- Your team has 30 seconds: agree on the best stationery for drawing pictures.
- Act out sharpening a pencil — use your hands to show the action clearly.
- Compare this glue stick with that marker. How are they different?
- Ask your partner: which of those notebooks would you choose? Say why.
- You have 30 seconds to describe your favourite pen to the class.
- Stand up and show with your hands: how big are these crayons?
- Explain: why do you need that pencil case in your school bag?
