A 24-space board game where 4 individual teen players race to the finish by answering present simple speaking prompts. Players land on spaces with varied speaking tasks—pair dialogues, quick presentations, opinion sharing, and habit descriptions—designed to build fluency and confidence at B1 level.

Speaking prompts on the board

  1. START: Tell your partner one thing you do every morning before school.
  2. Describe your daily routine in 3–4 sentences. Include at least two time expressions (e.g., 'In the morning', 'After lunch').
  3. Pair share: Ask your partner what sports or hobbies they do regularly. Listen and report back one detail to the group.
  4. Quick presentation: Explain your typical weekend. Do you relax, work, study, or play? Use present simple.
  5. Opinion share: Do you think teenagers spend too much time on their phones? Give your view in 2–3 sentences.
  6. Pair dialogue: One asks 'What does your best friend do in their free time?' The other answers with 3+ details.
  7. Describe a family member's job or daily habits. Use present simple. Help: 'My [person] works as... and they...'
  8. Group debate prompt: Do you prefer morning or evening classes? Explain your reason using present simple habits.
  9. Pair share: Ask your partner about their favourite subject and why. Report one reason to the group.
  10. Quick presentation: Tell the group about a weekly routine you have (sports practice, music lessons, work, etc.).
  11. Opinion share: What do you think makes a good friend? Give 2–3 reasons using present simple (e.g., 'A good friend listens...').
  12. Pair dialogue: One asks 'How often do you see your grandparents/cousins?' The other answers with frequency details.
