Young learners introduce themselves and learn about classmates by asking questions, acting out introductions, and sharing personal information. Each space prompts authentic speaking about names, ages, families, hobbies, and daily routines.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner their name and where they live.
- Act out waking up in the morning. Your partner guesses what you do.
- Your team must agree: what is your favorite food to eat?
- Ask your partner how old they are and when their birthday is.
- Describe your best friend. What does your friend look like?
- Stand up and mime playing your favorite sport. Others guess.
- Ask your partner what they do after school every day.
- You have 30 seconds to introduce yourself to the class.
- Discuss with your group: what do you like to do on weekends?
- Show with your hands how tall you are. Say your height.
- Explain what you eat for breakfast every morning.
- Ask your partner about their family. How many brothers or sisters?
- Compare your school bag to your partner's. What is different?
- Act out getting ready for school. Show brushing teeth and getting dressed.

- You have 60 seconds to tell the class about your family.
