Likes and Dislikes Board Game
Young learners travel around a 24-space board, answering questions and completing speaking tasks about their likes, dislikes, preferences, and opinions. Players ask each other questions, act out activities, and work in teams to practise expressing preferences in English.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner what their favourite food is and why they like it.
- Act out eating something you really like. Your partner guesses what it is.
- Describe your favourite colour and tell us why you like it.

- Your team must agree on the best toy or game for children your age.
- Stand up and mime an animal you like. Can your partner guess it?
- Ask your partner what subject at school they like best and why.

- Act out doing something you dislike. Your team guesses what it is.
- Compare your favourite drink with your partner's favourite drink.
- You have 30 seconds to present your favourite book or film and why.
- Ask your partner what food they do not like and why they dislike it.
- Show with your hands how big or small your favourite pet is.
- What do you like about your best friend? Tell the class.
- Your team must decide: is pizza or ice cream better? Why?
- Describe a place you like to visit and what you do there.
- Ask your partner what they like to wear on weekends.
- Act out your favourite hobby. Can your partner name it correctly?
- What is one thing you do not like about rainy days? Explain it.
- Discuss with your group: what is the best season and why?
- You have 60 seconds to convince your team which animal makes the best pet.
- Ask your partner what they like to do when they are bored.
- Mime something you like to eat for breakfast. Your team guesses it.
