Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner: What do you do to help at home? Say one thing.
- Act out washing the dishes. Your partner guesses what you are doing.
- Describe how you clean your bedroom. What do you do first?
- Your team must agree: Is it fun or not fun to do chores?
- Ask your partner: Who helps you at home? What do they do?
- Stand up and mime making your bed. Can your partner guess?
- Compare: Is your job at home easy or hard? Why?
- You have 30 seconds to present your favorite chore and why you like it.
- Ask your partner: Do you help cook? What food do you help make?
- Explain: When do you help at home? Morning, afternoon, or evening?
- Act out feeding a pet or watering plants. Show with your hands.
- Discuss with your group: What chore do you NOT like? Say why.
- Ask your partner: Does your mom or dad help you? What do they help with?
- Show with your hands: How do you sweep the floor?
- Describe: Do you put away your toys? Where do you put them?
- You have 60 seconds to convince your team: Chores are good for you.
- Ask your partner: How many chores do you do? Name one.
- Act out taking out the trash. Your partner says what you are doing.
- Compare: Is it better to help alone or with your family?
- Your team must agree: What is the easiest chore at home?
- Explain: Do you help set the table? How do you do it?
- Stand up and show: How do you fold your clothes?
- Ask your partner: Do you get a reward for chores? What is it?
- Describe your favorite helper at home. Why do you like them?
