E and F Adventure: Letter Land Board Game
Young learners race around a 24-space board, landing on speaking tasks anchored to E and F words (egg, elephant, fish, fan). Players must produce full sentences using present simple, asking questions, and describing pictures. Chance cards add surprise moves and mini-speaking tasks. Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner: Do you like eggs for breakfast? Why or why not?
- Describe the elephant picture to your partner. What colour is it?
- Act out an elephant walking. Your partner guesses what animal you are.
- Ask your partner: What do you use a fan for? When do you use it?
- Your team must agree: Is a fish or an elephant bigger? Explain why.
- Look at the egg picture. Describe what you see. What colour is the egg?
- Stand up and mime using a fan. Your team guesses what you are doing.
- Ask your partner: Do you have a fan at home? Where is it?
- Compare the fish and elephant pictures. Which one do you like? Say why.
- Your team has 30 seconds to present: What do we eat from an egg?
- Describe an elephant. What does it look like? What colour is it usually?
