- You look at your phone. The weather app says it will rain today. The temperature is 12 degrees Celsius. You need warm and dry clothes. You open your closet and see many options. You can wear a jacket or a raincoat. What do you choose?
- You put on a t-shirt and shorts. You feel comfortable and happy. You go outside to walk to work. After five minutes, it starts to rain very hard. You do not have an umbrella or raincoat. Your clothes are wet and cold. You feel uncomfortable.
- You wear a raincoat over your shirt and jeans. You also put on boots to keep your feet dry. You feel prepared for the rain. You go outside and walk to the bus stop. The rain is heavy, but you are warm and dry inside your raincoat and boots.
- You wear a warm jacket over your shirt and jeans. You put on comfortable shoes. You think the jacket is enough for the rain. You go outside and start walking. After ten minutes, the rain gets heavier and heavier. Your jacket is wet on the outside.
- You stand at the bus stop with other people. Everyone is waiting for the bus. You are dry and warm in your raincoat and boots. A woman next to you says, 'Your raincoat is very nice! I wish I wore one today.' The bus arrives and you get on. You feel good about your choice.
- You decide to walk all the way to work. The rain continues, but your raincoat and boots keep you protected. You walk through the city and see interesting shops and parks. You arrive at work feeling healthy and energetic. Your coworkers say you look great!
- You run back home as fast as you can. Your t-shirt and shorts are soaking wet. You reach your apartment and change into dry clothes. You put on a sweater and jeans. You also find an umbrella in the corner. Now you are late for work, but at least you are dry.
