Young learners race around a 20-space board, speaking about their daily routines. Players land on prompts that ask them to ask partners questions, act out activities, discuss with teammates, and share routines. Designed for A1 learners with simple, concrete language and lots of pair and group interaction.

Speaking prompts on the board

  1. Ask your partner what time they wake up in the morning.
  2. Stand up and mime brushing your teeth. Your partner guesses.
  3. What do you eat for breakfast? Describe it to your partner.
  4. Ask your partner what clothes they wear to school today.
  5. Your team must agree: what is your favorite time of day?
  6. Act out getting dressed. Your teammates guess each item.
  7. When do you go to school? Tell your partner the time.
  8. Ask your partner what they do at lunch. Do they like it?
  9. Tell the class about your favorite part of your day.
  10. What do you do after school? Say one activity you enjoy.
  11. Discuss with your group: do you do homework before or after play?
  12. Show with your hands how you eat dinner. Others guess.
  13. What time do you go to sleep? Why do you sleep at that time?
  14. Which routine is easy for you? Which one is hard? Explain.
  15. Describe what you do right before you go to sleep at night.
