Daily Routine Race
A 24-space board game where young learners speak about their daily routines. Players move around the board answering questions about wake-up times, meals, school, homework, bedtime, and weekend activities. Teams compete to reach the finish first while practising A2 speaking about habits, past actions, and daily schedules.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner what time they wake up and what they do first.
- Describe your breakfast. What do you eat and drink every day?
- Act out brushing your teeth and washing your face. Your team guesses.
- Ask your partner how they get to school. Do they walk or ride?
- Your team must agree: what is the best thing about school?
- What do you do at lunch time? Describe your favourite lunch.
- Act out playing a sport or game. Show your team what you do.
- Ask your partner what they do after school. Do they play or study?
- Explain what homework you did yesterday. Was it easy or difficult?
- Your team has 30 seconds to agree: when is the best time to play?
- Describe what you eat for dinner. Who cooks it at your home?
- Stand up and mime getting ready for bed. Your partner guesses.
- Ask your partner what time they go to bed and why.
- Compare your morning and evening. Which is busier? Why?
- What did you do yesterday after school? Tell us one activity.
- Discuss with your group: what is your favourite meal of the day?
- You have 60 seconds to present your perfect weekend day to the class.
- Show with your hands how tall you are and how you stretch.
- Ask your partner: what is one thing you cannot do in the morning?
- Explain one rule you have at home about bedtime or homework.
- Your team must agree on the best time to eat lunch. Why?
- Describe what you wear to school. What colour are your clothes?
- Act out your favourite after-school activity. Show your movements.
