Costume Quest: The Uniform Challenge

Speaking prompts on the board

  1. START: Name one costume word you know. Go!
  2. Pair share: Describe a superhero's cape and mask. Take turns.
  3. Describe a leather jacket in three sentences. Use colours and textures.
  4. Roleplay: You're wearing a helmet and sunglasses. Why? Tell your partner.
  5. Small group: Which costume word is hardest to say? Practise together three times.
  6. Debate in pairs: Sword and shield OR cape and mask? Which is cooler? Say why.
  7. Present to the group: Describe your dream football top uniform. Use adjectives.
  8. Pair work: Act as a costume shop worker and customer. Sell a wig and belt.
  9. Tell your team a 30-second story: You find a mysterious mask. What happens next?
  10. Quickfire round: Say five costume words fast, then spell two aloud.
  11. Compare with a partner: Which uniform (apron, helmet, football top) is most useful? Explain.
  12. Group share: Create a funny character using three costume words. Describe them.
