Colour Quest: A Speaking Board Game
Young learners travel around a 24-space board asking each other about colours in their lives. Players land on spaces that prompt pair conversations, team discussions, acting tasks, and mini-presentations — all anchored to real-world colour vocabulary and personal experiences.

Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner what colour their bedroom wall is and why they like it.
- Act out getting dressed. Your team guesses what colour clothes you choose.
- Describe your favourite toy or game and what colours it has.
- Your team must agree: what is the best colour for a school uniform?
- Ask your partner what colour their school bag is and what is inside it.
- Stand up and mime painting a picture. Your team guesses the colours.
- Compare your favourite colour with your partner's. Explain why you like yours.
- Discuss with your group: what colour car do you want when you grow up?
- You have 30 seconds to describe your breakfast plate and its colours.
- Ask your partner what colour their shoes are and when they wear them.
- Show with your hands: draw a rainbow in the air and name each colour.
- Explain what colour makes you happy and what colour makes you sad.
- Your team must agree: what colour should the school playground be?
- Act out shopping for clothes. Point to colours and say what you want.
