Board Game: City Week Adventure (A1, Young learners, 24 prompts)

Young learners tell a new classmate about their typical week, favourite places in the city, and daily habits. Players move around a 24-space board by answering speaking prompts about where they go and what they do. Prompts use present simple to describe routines and preferences anchored to real city locations.

  1. Ask your partner: where do you go on Monday? What do you do there?
  2. Act out going to the supermarket. Your partner guesses what you are buying.
  3. Describe your favourite place in the city. Why do you like it?

  5. Your team must agree: which place is best for lunch? Why?
  6. Stand up and mime going to the bank. Your team guesses the place.

  9. You have 30 seconds to present: describe your week and your favourite place.

  14. Act out a person at the pharmacy. Your partner says what they see.
