Speaking prompts on the board
- Ask your partner: What are you doing right now? They answer in full sentences using present continuous.

- Discuss with your group: Where are you usually at 8 PM? What are you doing then? Share three ideas.
- Tell your partner about someone famous. What do you think they're doing right now?
- Your team must agree on five things people are doing in your classroom RIGHT NOW. Present your list.
- Stand up and mime three different actions (running, cooking, dancing). Say what you're doing each time.
- Answer: Is it summer or winter where you are? What are people doing outside in that season?
- Pair talk: Ask your partner about their hobby. Get them to describe what they're doing in detail.
- Show with gestures and sounds: You're at the beach. What are you doing? Describe it while you mime.
- Group challenge: Create a silly scene together. Everyone acts out a job (teacher, chef, athlete). Describe your action.
- Tell the class about a time you were doing something when something funny happened. Use past + present continuous.
- Answer: Right now, are you feeling happy, tired, or excited? Why? Explain your feelings in present tense.
- Ask your partner: What will you be doing tomorrow at this time? Encourage full, detailed answers.
- Role-play: You're a reporter. Interview your partner about what they're doing this weekend.
- Your team votes: Which activity is the most boring to watch—someone sleeping, studying, or waiting? Explain why.
- Describe the picture in your mind: A person is doing an unusual sport. What is it? How are they doing it?
