Story
- Welcome to the Arctic Trail! There are 4 checkpoints, and this is Checkpoint 1. Your teacher reads textbook Question 1, and you write your answer in your notebook. Listen for the words skiing and hunting. If you answer the game question correctly the first time, you win a star.
- Practice stop! Read Question 1 again slowly. The key words are skiing and hunting. Look for them in your notebook answer.
- Checkpoint 2! You go on by snowmobile. Your teacher reads textbook Question 2. Listen for the word snowmobile, then write your answer in your notebook.
- Practice stop! Read Question 2 again slowly. The key word is snowmobile. Look for it in your notebook answer.
- Checkpoint 3! You are halfway there. Your teacher reads textbook Question 3. Listen for the words seaweed, raw and berries, then write your answer in your notebook.
- Practice stop! Read Question 3 again slowly. The key words are seaweed, raw and berries. Check that your answer uses words from the textbook.
- Checkpoint 4! This is the last question. Your teacher reads textbook Question 4. Look back at all your key words: skiing, hunting, snowmobile, seaweed, raw and berries. Then write your answer in your notebook.
