Animal Adventure Board Game
A colorful speaking board game for Grade 1 learners (ages 5–7) where teams move around a 24-space track by answering simple questions about animals. Players describe animals, mime actions, ask each other questions, and work together as a team. Each correct spoken answer helps the team advance.

Speaking prompts on the board
- What is your favorite animal? Say: My favorite animal is...
- Ask your partner: What color is a cat? Listen and repeat their answer.
- Act out a big elephant walking slowly. Your team guesses what you are.
- Describe a dog. Say what color it is and what it can do.
- Your team must agree: Is a fish big or small? Say together.
- Ask your partner: How many legs does a bird have? Count together.
- Stand up and mime a monkey jumping. Say what the monkey does.
- Describe a rabbit. Tell us what color it is and if it is big.
- Ask your partner: Do you like lions? Why or why not? Listen carefully.
- Your team has 30 seconds to present: What animals can swim? Take turns speaking.
- Act out a turtle moving slowly. Your partner says: It is a turtle.
- Describe a pig. Say what color it is and what sound it makes.
- Ask your partner: What animal is very big? Listen and say yes or no.
- Your team must agree: Which animal is your favorite? Say it together.
- Stand up and mime a snake slithering. Say: The snake is long.
- Describe a cow. Say what color it is and what sound it makes.
- Ask your partner: How many animals do you like? Count on your fingers.
- Act out a bird flying. Say: The bird can fly. It is small.
- Describe a zebra. Say what colors it has and if it is big.
- Your team has 30 seconds to present: What animals have four legs? Speak clearly.
- Ask your partner: What animal can jump very high? Say the animal name.
- Stand up and mime a penguin walking. Say: The penguin is black and white.
- Describe your favorite animal from today. Say what it looks like and what it can do.
- Ask your partner: Which animal do you want to see? Listen and repeat the answer.
