Story
- You are an explorer in India! You stand at a big map in Delhi. You can see mountains in the north, deserts in the west, and rivers everywhere. Your teacher gives you a camera and says, 'Take photos of India's different regions!' Which region do you want to visit first?
- You travel north by train. The Himalayan mountains are very big and beautiful! Snow covers the top of the mountains. You meet a local guide named Raj. He says, 'The mountains are cold and tall. We can walk to a small village or climb higher to see the snow.' What do you choose?
- You walk down to a small village. The people are very friendly! They give you hot tea and show you their homes. You take many photos of the valley and the mountains. Raj says, 'This is life in the mountains. It is quiet and peaceful.' You feel happy and take the best photos of the day.
- You try to climb higher, but the air is very thin and cold. Your legs feel heavy. After one hour, you are tired and cannot climb more. Raj says, 'The mountains are difficult. We must go back now.' You take a few photos, but you are disappointed. You did not reach the snow.
- You travel west to the Thar Desert. It is very hot and dry! The sand is orange and yellow. You see camels walking slowly. A desert guide named Priya says, 'The desert is very hot in the day. We can ride camels or visit a desert town.' Which do you prefer?
- You ride camels across the Thar Desert! The sun is very bright. You see beautiful sand dunes and a few small plants. Priya points and says, 'Look! That is an oasis with water and trees.' You take wonderful photos of the desert landscape. The camel ride is slow but exciting!
- You visit a small desert town. The buildings are made of stone and clay. You see a market with colorful clothes and spices. But it is very crowded and noisy. You cannot take good photos because there are too many people. Priya says, 'Markets are busy. Maybe the desert is better for photos.'
- You travel to the Indo-Gangetic Plain. This region is very flat and green. Farmers grow rice, wheat, and vegetables here. Many rivers flow through the plain. A farmer named Arun says, 'The plain is fertile and good for farming. We can visit the fields or see the river.' What interests you?
