Classroom games with free printables
No-tech games for the English classroom. Each one has a short video that shows how to teach it, free printables in A4 and US Letter (cards, sheets and a worksheet at Support, Core and Challenge levels with an answer key), and a matching digital game you can make for free.
Halloween classroom games
- Who Stole the Pumpkin?: A Halloween mystery speaking game for teens. Every student gets one secret clue. They can say it, never show it. Together the group works out who stole the pumpkin, where and when.
- Ghost Story Chain: A Halloween speaking game for teens. Groups of four build a ghost story one sentence each, and every sentence has to use the spooky word on the speaker's card. The class votes for the best twist.
- Draw My Monster: A Halloween listening game for kids and teens. You describe a monster one sentence at a time. Students listen and draw. Everyone holds up their monster, and the closest one wins a point for their team.
